More seats, same floor

Back-to-back stations share legs and beams, so a row takes less space than separate desks. In a Mumbai office, where every square foot is rented, that adds up to more seats per floor.

Every desk live on day one

Cable trays, electrical kits with Indian 6/16 A sockets and LAN points are planned with the floor boxes and wired by our electricians, so there are no trailing extension boards.

Sizes to suit the team

Tops from 1220 to 1830 mm wide and 610 to 915 mm deep, from a compact call-centre seat to a roomy desk for designers and analysts.

Rebuilt when you grow

Add-on units extend a run, and the benching comes apart and goes back together when teams change or the office moves floors.

Asked and answered

How much floor area does one workstation need?

As a rough guide, allow 45 to 60 sq ft of carpet area per workstation in an open-plan office once walkways, storage and shared space are counted. The real figure depends on the desk size, the shape of the floor and the fire exits, so we work it out on your floor plan.

Which workstation size should we choose?

1200 to 1350 mm wide desks suit calling, support and laptop-only teams. 1500 to 1800 mm suits people with two monitors, drawings or paperwork. A 600 mm deep top fits one screen; 750 mm gives room for two.

Can workstations be moved to a new office later?

Yes. Cadence benching is bolted together from standard parts, so we can take it apart, move it and rebuild it at your new address, adding or removing seats to fit the new layout.
