Executive desks and cabin tables

The Bastion and Lustre ranges furnish managers’ cabins and directors’ offices: straight, bow-front and bullet-end desks, returns, bridges and corner units that build L- and U-shaped desks, and credenzas to match. We size them to the cabin, which in most Mumbai offices is smaller than the plan suggests, and leave room for visitors and a door that opens fully.

01 — Why it works

Planned for how you work

Sized to the cabin

Desks from 1220 to 1830 mm wide, with returns and bridges that turn the corner, so a 10 × 10 ft cabin and a corner office both get a desk that fits.

One look across the floor

Desks, credenzas, hutches, bookcases and pedestals share the same laminates and aluminium details, so every cabin matches.

Cables out of sight

Aluminium grommets, wire channels and modesty panels keep laptop, phone and monitor cables off the desk and out of view.

Built for daily use

Soft-close drawers, levelling glides for uneven floors and a sealed PVC edge that keeps out monsoon damp.

04 — Questions

Asked and answered

What size desk fits a small cabin?

For a cabin of about 8 × 10 ft, a 1500 mm (5 ft) desk with a pedestal leaves space for two visitor chairs. From about 10 × 12 ft an L-desk with a return fits comfortably. We check door swings, windows and AC units on site before confirming.

Should a director’s cabin have an L-shaped or U-shaped desk?

An L-desk puts storage or a second screen within reach without turning away from visitors. A U-desk adds a credenza behind, linked by a bridge, and needs a cabin of about 12 × 14 ft or more.

Do the desks come with storage?

Pedestals, credenzas, hutches and lateral files are ordered to match. Most cabins take a mobile pedestal under the desk and a credenza or low storage behind it.
