Reception desks and counters

Straight and curved Bastion reception counters with white glass or laminate transaction tops, returns that make an L-shaped counter with a work area behind, and conversion kits that add front overlays, pigeonholes and LED lights. Reception is the first thing visitors see, so we design the desk with the wall behind it and your branding.

01 — Why it works

Planned for how you work

Straight or curved

A 6 ft straight counter, or a curved one that grows 60° at a time, to suit a narrow lift lobby or an open reception.

Work space behind

An angled return and pedestals under the counter give the receptionist a proper desk, with wire management and pigeonholes.

Made part of the design

We plan the counter with the backdrop wall, logo, lighting and visitor seating, so the reception reads as one design.

04 — Questions

Asked and answered

How big should a reception desk be?

A single receptionist needs a counter about 1500 to 1800 mm wide; two need about 2400 mm or an L-shaped counter with a return. The transaction top sits at about 1070 mm, standing height for visitors, with the work surface below at desk height.

Can the reception desk carry our logo?

Yes. Front overlays and the wall behind the counter can carry your logo in acrylic, metal or backlit lettering, which we design and install with the reception.
