Transforming Rooftops into Serene Retreats in Mumbai

Mumbai is a bustling city that never sleeps. It is home to millions of people who work hard and play hard. But in the midst of the chaos and noise, there is a need for some peace and tranquility. That's why many office buildings in Mumbai are turning their rooftops into serene retreats that offer a breath of fresh air and a stunning view of the skyline.

Rooftop gardens are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also environmentally friendly and beneficial for the health and well-being of the employees. They can reduce the urban heat island effect, lower energy consumption, improve air quality, and provide a natural habitat for birds and insects. They can also create a sense of community and connection among the workers, who can enjoy a break from their desks and relax in a green oasis.

But designing a rooftop garden is not an easy task. It requires careful planning, creativity, and expertise to transform a barren space into a beautiful and functional one. That's where Designo Interiors comes in.

Designo Interiors is one of the leading interior design firms in Mumbai, specializing in creating stunning and sustainable spaces for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients. With over 10 years of experience and a team of talented and passionate designers, Designo Interiors can turn any vision into reality.

One of their recent projects was to design a rooftop garden for Aarav Industries, a leading manufacturer of textiles and garments in Mumbai. Aarav Industries wanted to create a relaxing and inspiring space for their employees, where they could unwind, socialize, and enjoy the view.

Designo Interiors took on the challenge and delivered an amazing result. They transformed the 5000 sq ft rooftop into a lush and inviting garden that features:

• A variety of plants, flowers, herbs, and vegetables that add color, fragrance, and freshness to the space.
• A pergola that provides shade and shelter from the sun and rain.
• A water feature that creates a soothing sound and a cooling effect.
• A seating area that accommodates different needs and preferences, such as lounge chairs, benches, tables, and hammocks.
• A fire pit that adds warmth and ambiance to the evenings.
• A barbecue grill that allows for outdoor cooking and dining.
• A yoga deck that offers a serene spot for meditation and exercise.
• A solar panel system that powers the lighting and irrigation system.

The rooftop garden has become a popular spot for the employees of Aarav Industries, who love to spend their breaks and lunch hours there. They also use it for meetings, events, and parties. The garden has improved their morale, productivity, and creativity. It has also enhanced the image and reputation of Aarav Industries as a progressive and eco-friendly company.

Designo Interiors is proud to have created such a successful project that has made a positive impact on their client and the environment. They are always ready to take on new challenges and create more urban oases in Mumbai's office buildings.
